So yesterday I looked at a PS2 Action/RPG. Today’s game is an NES Action/RPG which is largely unheard of, but it’s still a great game.

So it’s cop-out time. I can’t get any screenshots of these on my own, so you’re going to have to search elsewhere to find ’em.
I have to confess. This game is the reason I got a PS2.

Clash At Demonhead – Action (NES)

Here’s another NES action game with some twists. It plays as a side-scrolling, fairly standard platformer. You shoot enemies and they go down (some later than others). This is all well and good, but there need to be some qualities to distinguish it from everything else, right?

I’ve focused entirely too much on RPGs and SNES games, so let’s get back to the basics.
Apparently this game has a plot, but it’s not especially important (and a bit odd).

I have to admit that I, too, have not played this game for a long while. It’s not a game without its frustrations, and I haven’t had the patience to get all the way through it in the past few years.
If, however, you can stand the frustrations, you’ll be treated to a remarkably above-standard game.
